Donations – 2013

500

We raised $552 in 2013 for the Police Unity Tour! Thank you so much for all your support and donations!

After careful deliberation we have decided to start accepting donations to a great cause this year! The Police Unity tour raises funds for the families of fallen officers. Officer Matt Monteverde will beriding on the Unity tour in 2014. All donations that are given at the light show will go directly to the Unity tour in Matts name. Please consider donating to such a great cause! All donations are tax deductible and you can donate either via check (make checks payable to Officer Matt Monteverde with Unity Tour Donation in the Memo) or cash in person at the light show or online at: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/mattmonteverde/2014

Our Donation box is located just to the left of our driveway. The donation box is attached to the sign that indicates the FM station you need to tune to. We check these every night. If you prefer you could also donate to us directly by knocking on our door. If we are home we will happy take your donation in person.

We take absolutely nothing to cover costs or anything of the sort. Every penny donated will go to the Police Unity Tour to help the Families of Fallen officers!

POLICE UNITY TOUR OF FLORIDA INCORPORATED

Naples, FL | EIN: 20-1026394

In May 1997, the Police Unity Tour was organized in an effort to bring about public awareness of law enforcement officers that have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices. Currently there have been more than 19,000 officers killed in the line of duty in the United States dating back to 1792. The motto of the Police Unity Tour is simple, yet poignant “We Ride ForThose Who Died”. Additionally, we assist the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Fund with monetary support. This mission is primarily accomplished through an annual bicycle trek from various points across the United States to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, located in Washington, D.C. The Police Unity Tour has several chapters throughout the country and a membership of about 1500 individuals. Chapter VIII is located in Florida with members throughout the South but welcomes members from all states.
